Overview

Context

• got it as a treat while biking along the Farmington river
• eating it on the river was excellent
• pineapple was especially guilty. Abby had to check that there was really pineapple on her slices

Crust

• very chewy
• not a great a crust
• only edges were crispy
• Oven probably not hot enough

Sauce

• little touches like basil in the sauce. Interesting but it doesn’t matter when they don’t make a meaningful contribution
• sauce wasn’t very fresh tasting, seemed like pasta sauce. It wasn’t bright. But there was so little that it was hard to tell anyways

Mozzarella

• no comment

Ham

• ham was decent but it just made it taste more like a sandwich
• Abby said the ham tasted like edamame. WHAT. It’s unclear how much longer Abby’s ham reviews will remain valid

Pineapple

• pineapple was especially dull in flavor
• Abby had to check that there was really pineapple on her slices

Veggie Alternative: Black Olives

• no comment

Additional Thoughts

• pretty dull taste. None of the ingredients were very flavorful
• it tasted like a pizza you make at home
• served it’s purpose as a cafe pizza
• Great location
• tasted like a sandwich
• there was no yuck factor which is surprising for a pizza of this caliber
